Although I had to wait 6 months to finally receive it, it was well worth the wait. Very impressive piece of quality cookware. Works perfectly. Well Worth the price. Butter Pat Sets the Bar that everyone else is trying to get to.
My 12” glass lid arrived and it was definitely worth the wait! Not only does it assure the high temperature needed for searing meat, in combination with the skillet, the two become a braiser for use in the oven. The knob projection ensures a comfortable grip, even while using a potholder. Exceptional form and function!
The 12 inch skillet is the most used of the three Butter Pat skillets that I own. Having the fitted lid gives me options for braising and roasting that I didn’t have otherwise. Nothing better than a beef roast with potatoes and carrots in that skillet on top of the stove. My mother would have loved it!

Our Butter Pat cast iron skillet is simply beautiful - and perfect to cool with. When we had the chance to get a glass lid, we jumped on it. It is so beautiful! We had to make room to leave it out - so we enjoy it every day!
