Here at Butter Pat, we’re big fans of using both hands for carrying your cast iron. (No need to be a show-off, after all.) And so we finally made a holder for our front tabs, which we encourage you to use along with your handles when it comes to moving your pans from point A to point B.  

Designed by Butter Pat and impeccably crafted by the multi-generation artisans of the Martin Harness Shop in Dayton, Virginia, these handy holders are made using vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stitching, and our hand-embossed baseball script. 

Like the dish towel always over a chef’s shoulder, keep it in your back pocket while you’re cooking, and use it anytime to protect your mitts, whether you’re working over the stove, oven, or a live fire.
