The 12-inch Joe is a jack-of-all-trades—a braiser, a casserole, a rondeau, a Dutch oven, or to many around these parts, a chicken fryer, and, always, a versatile roaster.
It has high enough walls to fry safely, double tabs for ease of handling, and a wide shape that fits shareable meals and pairs perfectly with our J glass lid.

Purchased a second best Joe. So far we are loving the taller sides and dual handles. For a second best pan it is very good quality with minimal reason not to be first quality. Very happy with Joe just as much as Heather and Joan previously bought

I purchased the Joe as a "second." I prayed I'd luck out and get a fabulous skillet at a deep discount. I was overjoyed to see that there were only a few tiny blemishes on the skillet. I have the Heather and the Joe and they are so perfect. If I had purchased these years ago I would be money ahead since I've thrown out so many nonstick skillets. I will say that it's a learning curve remembering to use a pot holder to touch the skillet. I've burnt my hand several times like an idiot.

This is my go to for frittatas and baked meal prep breakfasts. It's great for open roasting a chicken. I was worried about not having a handle, but side tabs are perfect and I appreciate how i can fit more in the oven when I'm baking. 10/10, can't wait to get a glass lid for it.
