JOE
4.0 Quart Flat-Bottomed Braiser
After the success of the Eric, we heard you: Make a bigger one! And so we did.
The 12-inch Joe is a jack-of-all-trades—a braiser, a casserole, a rondeau, a Dutch oven, or to many around these parts, a chicken fryer, and, always, a versatile roaster.
It has high enough walls to fry safely, double tabs for ease of handling, and a wide shape that fits shareable meals and pairs perfectly with our J glass lid.

Outstanding piece!!!
This is my second Butter Pat and I use it about 3 or 4 times a week. I absolutely love it! I leave it out on the stove top not only because I use it so often, but because it's gorgeous and I'm so proud of it! Corny? Yup, but true. : )

Worth The Purchase!
This pan is quickly becoming my go to favorite

THEEEEEEE BEST
This is my favorite cooking pan of the (so far) two Butterpats in my possession. I love this pan! It is nice and deep. Great for sauteeing. Great to use as a dutch oven (I already have their glass lid.) I use it quite often. And I have lived sixty-plus years never having used cast iron cookware. I am a convert. I love Butterpat.

If I was on a deserted island...
If I was on a deserted island I'd hope Joe and the J lid were with me. With the exception of Lil I am the proud caretaker of the whole collection. This pan does it all, especially with it's deep walls. If I had to choose one it very well may be the Joe. If I had to choose three it'd be Joe, Heather and Eric. I truly love using these pans everyday.

Butterfat is for real
Mainly vegetable oven dishes so far. Main reason for buying was to save room in oven and not have to deal with handles taking up space. So far it’s everything I want in a cast iron pan. Functional, lightweight, and easy to clean! Also, purchased the Eric and it’s the same deal!
